A Bit About T. Caroon

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Theresa Caroon and I am the sole owner & developer here at T. Caroon Web Design & Development.

I’m so glad you stopped by to get a bit of information. So, to start with let me tell you a bit about myself…

I began designing websites way back in 1998. I taught myself the necessary coding languages to build several websites back then. Most were personal sites, but a few were for small businesses as well.

In 2010, I decided to go to college and earn a degree in web design/development to advance my business goals and better help my clients. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Web Development from Baker College. I went on to pursue another degree and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018 with a Master of Science Information Technology with a concentration in Web Design.

With over 25 years working in the web development field, I’m sure I can tackle even the toughest of website problems you may have. I also have experience in social media management, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), graphic design and much more. Because I am a Christian and a Bible teacher, my specialty is developing Christian-themed websites.

Establishing a Web/Client Relationship

Now you may be asking yourself “Why should I trust her?”
Granted, 25 years experience is one thing but to establish a relationship with someone with enough trust to work with them on your web presence to the world is quite another. And, you shouldn’t trust just any web developer.

But, I’m not your typical web developer. I truly believe God gave me this talent of developing websites to help others. I do not believe in selling you services that you do not need. I would never want that to happen to me so I refuse to do it to someone else.

In fact, I believe that just as much as you have to choose me as your web developer, I also need to make sure that you will be a good client fit for me. I would never want to begin a project that I am not fully confident that I can properly fit into my schedule or work on a site that contains content that would conflict with my Christian beliefs and values.

New Client Site Evaluations

That’s why I always give each new client a free site evaluation with an extensively detailed proposal so you know right from the start exactly what you are getting, how long the development process will take, and what the lowest cost possible is going to be. Each proposal is based on your needs.

If you have a website and are just looking to have someone update the content then that is what your proposal will be based upon. If you do not have a current website and are looking to have one built then your proposal will be quite a bit more extensive and include everything you need to get started such as hosting costs and domain name options. All site evaluations and proposals are completely free of charge. Just contact me and I will walk you through how get started on your own free evaluation and proposal!

Development Process

Once we have established a relationship and you have accepted the proposal I will work with you closely throughout the development process. Your proposal will include a task-oriented schedule of completion so you will know where I am at in the development process, but I will also reach out to you several times to keep you updated on the progress. All developement must be in alignment with the informational content you provide so as we work through building your website you will need to ensure that all content is provided in a timely manner.

If you would like I can also give you access to view the website during its building phases so you can see exactly how the site is coming together. This means that you never have to worry about whether or not your site build is progressing. Simply click on the link I provide and see how far the build process has progressed.

If you ever have any questions along the way I will also be available to answer those questions with just a simple text, call or email. Like I said, I am here for you every step of the way.

Once the development is complete and all payments have been made the site will go live to the public. If for any reason you have issues that prevent you from making a payment or getting me the content material I need to complete the project please just reach out to me so we can adjust the timeline to completion to suit your needs.

When the site is live to the public our relationship doesn’t have to end. I offer a wide range of services all customized to suit your needs to maintain your website in the years to come. The maintenance fees, timelines, and more are also included in your proposal.

Rates & Package Pricing

Charges for web design and development of new sites or redesigns of existing sites are based on a package price dependent on how large the site is to be and how many special features you would like to have included. Once your evaluation is complete the proposal will contain a full package quote. Package pricing is always beneficial to you since all packages are discounted over a normal hourly rate of development time.

Because every website is different and each have their own amount of content and features there is not an appropriate way to give you a rough estimate of cost to build without speaking to you first. Please contact me if you are in need of a rough price range so that I can at least establish how many pages and features you will need.

For any website maintenance, content management, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) efforts, or graphic design that are not part of a package I do charge an hourly rate. If you are part of a non-profit please let me know as all registered and verified non-profits receive a discount on the hourly rate. Once again, please contact me for my current hourly rate.
